For many years we have been cooperating with reliable partners in the fields of breeding, fattening, slaughtering and cutting. These partnerships play a large role in our success.
After 14 years of consistent development and economic growth our producers in Germany and Austria now include 6 breeding and 39 fattening farms for turkeys and chickens. All of these entities are fully-converted organic operations which meet the stringent standards of the EU-Eco-Regulations as well as the stricter guidelines of the recognised agricultural associations. These guidelines exclude farms which have only converted part of their operations to organic production. The high standard of quality for which we are known could not be sustained without this very successful cooperation. On these farms, the animals are raised in a gentle manner that assures their welfare, with ample space and quality feed. Organic farms certified by the association stand for straightforward and transparent production.
We collaborate with additional partners in the field of slaughtering and cutting.
Two locations, each with slaughtering and meat cutting operations, process small volumes using manual work and practically no machines. This makes a particularly low-stress slaughtering process possible as well as frequent and thorough quality controls resulting in high-grade products. Naturally, the slaughterhouses are operated in accordance with the EU-Eco Regulations and are IFS certified.
